While on the topic of deleting things, I would also like to delete the entire package org.eclipse.e4.core.services.work. The package contains a rough sketch of an abstraction from the 3.x IProgressService and JobManager. This was never implemented - there are no current implementations of WorkRunnable, WorkScheduler, WorkListener, etc. What exists in the package today is mostly some early ideas without any implementation. I don't think it provides any value to keep it around and I think we should just delete it.
