Hi,

I think going down to the widget level is only efficient, if you focus
on a specific use case, e.g. as we do for form-based UIs
(http://eclipsesource.com/blogs/tutorials/emf-client-platform-how-to-customize-the-editor-layout/)
However, this nicely integrates with the e4 Application Model.
