Sigh. Sorry for not caring about that. I just want easy access to the tools I
need.

Doug, this is mostly because they haven't been through the vetting process
required by officially released tools. This isn't just the CQ's but also
ensuring that things like internationalization, accessibility and docs are up
to spec...

There's also an advantage to leaving them in the incubator as long as possible;
it allows progress at a rate that's hard to match with 'released' code (where
breaking backwards compatibility is a no-no....). I think that most of the
tools have matured pretty well and would make viable Luna candidates though.

If some of the tools aren't yet ready for prime time perhaps we could offer
them in the Eclipse Marketplace (as well as providing them in the current
update site) ?

Eric

Paul created https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=425978 for the
upgrade

Yes. My push to master will fail the build for Kepler. Make a branch from [1]
to support Kepler maintenance?

Hi,

with the changes in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=425879 the e4
tools build would not be usable for Kepler.

Is that OK for everyone? I think in the past, Paul created one last "stable"
update site for older releases.

Best regards, Lars
