I would suggest to invest some time in evaluating CDO's setup tool for
Eclipse Contributors/Committers. Once there is a "configuration" for e4, it
is a matter of installing a bootstrap setup application and the rest
(git/gerrit/projects/working sets, etc.) is done automatically.
