Thanks for your reply Brian. It clarifies quite a few things.

I have implemented the ILoggerProvider with a slf4j wrapper. Regarding the
appender,
can you elaborate how to access the FrameworkLog instance. I am
implementing
the appender as a fragment for ch.qos.logback.classic bundle. Is there
something
else that I am missing?
