does it work with all encapsulation types ? 
I thought it only worked with PPPoA VCMux ? (not PPPoE ? not RFC1483 ?)
The License is still BSD or do you intend to change it to GPL ?

Dynamically you mean ? 
That could be a kind of user space control, even if the functionalities are not 
the same as eaglectrl.

I currently cannot test as I only have the kernel-source for a
kernel-2.4.22-41mdk and my kernel-2.6.11-2mdk does not boot any
more :-( (I'm in 2.6.10-3mdk, the other kernel gives errors like could
not load module usb-uhci :-( neither ext3 hence no written log...)
