Keep the dsp_code*.bin in /etc/eagle-usb/dsp/ - take the eagle-usb.conf generated by installation / configuration If it works, reinstall' the eagle-usb-2.0.0 (and launch eagleconfig) then replace with those dsp_code*.bin / /etc/eagle-usb/eagle-usb.conf previously saved. Please give md5sum of dsp_code*.bin & content of eagle-usb.conf...
Sorry for this kind of "error and retry testing"... BTW you seem to have many problems of fsck (maybe due to ReiserFS... I do have this with ext3...), maybe it slows down the boot sufficiently that the modem cannot initialize at boot and goes berserk with usb... try booting with modem unplugged and plug it once logged. @++ Ben'. aka baud123
