Salut,
As GEsp confirmed he received the modem and that I obtained confirmation
from ADI (private contact so far unfortunately) that I can distribute
the driver here is a status report :
1- http://baud123.free.fr/eagle3/ for the driver : thanks not to
redistribute, it contains one document stating
This document contains confidential information and is
                     proprietary to Analog Devices Inc.
No part of this document may be reproduced in any form or by any means
without the prior permission of Analog Devices Inc.
(that only apply to this specific document... by chance)
This kind of licence slows our work, I may even come to doubt that the
confirmation I obtained "1) all the files in adi.zip file can be
distributed." is suficient :-(
We'll have to work on this organizational part of the project as well if
we want to work more easily : I suggest to list what is to be done (and
sometimes do it, like for GPL licencing remarks about headers by
Nathanael Nerode - to be taken into account in 2.0.1...).

2- there's regression testing to do for BNM : other modems (I could do
it for Fast 800 AB)
http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=DevEagleUsbIII

http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=FeedBack200

3- we have an eagle-usb-2.0.0 to get out as soon as possible :
- includes older BNM
- document CMV changes that may be necessary for the end-user
- choose whether Oops at rmmod are acceptable (not diagnosed yet) - I
would say yes or revert to what is implemented in 1.9.9.1 (not worse...)

4- afterwards, we can include newer BNM in CVS and provide CMV
management that is appropriate (more to come).

5- it would be easier to work openly with ADI (on our ML whose archives
are mail-protected to avoid spam). I understand that they are not used
to it, but I'm confident that it will be possible and will be easier for
our relations (to understand it better, take into account that we do it
on our spare time, but that's nearly the same in an enterprise when this
way of working may be seen more of a burden than a way of working more
rapidly, there are constraints on both sides).

Note : we'll have to address problems specific to these new BNM and CMV
in English as ADI is working in English. French will be tolerated to
obtain more reports but we'll have to translate again...
