Yep .. in fact, IMHO the pb came from the fact that this function is
called in interrupt context ... thus raising a warning from the
kernel. I work on rewrite of this part. The code is done, and seems to
work on 2.4 kernels. I yet have to test it out in 2.6 kernel, before
commited it to CVS...
