I get this as well on Windows 2000. It seems the right edge of the tooltip
is anchored against the right edge of the left screen. This only happens
with tooltips displayed by Ctrl-Q for example. It doesn't occur with normal
Swing tooltips (like from a toolbar button) although they will stretch over
the split between the monitors if I hover the mouse over the leftmost
toolbar button.

Does JDK 1.4 handle dual screens better than JDK 1.3?
