Hi all I try to use the CVS feature in IDEA 2.5.2 together with WINCVS. I'm facing the following problem:
When I try to checkout a module a dialog ask's me about the module and other stuff. After pressing the OK Button IDEA changes to the Console view where I can see the command sent to WinCVS. It is as below C:\Programme\GNU\WinCvs 1.3\wincvs.exe -d :pserver:bro@iblch_srv1:/test checkout -P auftrag The only thing this does is it starts WinCVS and then it's waiting. In the console Window of WinCVS I can not see that the above command is sent to the cvs server. What do I do wrong? In the Help of Idea they write: When using "pserver" access method, the "CVS_PASSFILE" environment variable must be properly defined (see IDEA startup script). It must point to the file where CVS client stores passwords. Note that you have ability to clear a password for particular CVS root in File | ProjectProperties | CVS settings. Where is that startup script they are talking about?
