I'm running #629 on Mac OS X. I use CVS for my version control, and my path to cvs is /usr/bin/cvs (the version of CVS that Apple provides, and works very well for me from the command line. version 1.10).
Every time I run CVS Diff from IDEA, it tells me "the two files are identical", even if I just changed the file. The status bar says "CVS 'Diff' command completed with exit code 1". I don't use an external diff program. I've also tried with Fink's CVS: /sw/bin/cvs version 1.11. It behaves identically. Is there something misconfigured in my setup? Does CVS diff work for anybody else?
