Hi,

I've posted this on JGuru, but thought I'd post here as well. Neither me or
the rest of my team can reliably use the debugger with JDK1.4 as a target.
The debugger alway stops at a defined breakpoint, but pressing F8 and
expecting it to advance to the next line is unreliable.  Sometime it works;
other times the program resumes execution the stack frame is lost. I can't
quite put finger on the pattern of what causes 'Step' to work or fail, but I
have begun to suspect that anonymous inner classes may be a problem. Also,
it seems that once the debugger gets confused, it will remain confused. The
only work-around I know of is to put a breakpoint on every line in the area
of code you want to debug.

Is IntelliJ aware of this?

Regards,
Brendon McLean
