It is indeed fixed in 633. Thanks. I notice that if the mouse pointer strays outside the column that contains the line numbers while dragging, IDEA stops adjusting the range of selected lines. (It resumes tracking if you drag back into the line numbers column.) This is contrary to normal GUI behavior: To see the correct behavior, open any Windows application (or Mac application) and start dragging the elevator in a scroll bar. If you drag outside the bounds of the scroll bar, movement of the mouse pointer along the dimension of the scroll bar (vertical or horizontal) are still tracked.
