Perhaps JetBrains have prioritized and this problem just doesn't make that list (not that surprising really)? There are plenty of things myself and others have reported since the start of EAP that haven't been fixed but we understand there have to be priorities.
For example, I would certainly say this bug ranks below any of the items in your list, so you may have inadvertently proved the point :-) Perhaps when the promised bug tracking system is online we can see which bugs are low-to-no priority.
