I'm running the EAP on 2 machines - my work PC (Win2K) and home PC (WinXP),
both with IDEA running on 1.4.0_01.

My work PC is fine, however my home PC no longer recognises the Ctrl-Space
key combination, hence I can no longer access code-completion (short of
remapping to another key combination, which does work but is far from
ideal!). If I go in to the keymap and try to assign the Ctrl-Space
combination to anything, the key combination is not even detected - nothing
happens. However other combinations such as Ctrl-Shift-Space, Ctrl-Enter etc
all show up and work fine.

As far as I can recall, this started happening in builds after 629, ie all
the 1.4.0_01 builds. It still happens in 636, even with a completely clean
install of Idea.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? One thing that might be a factor
is that my home PC has a Logitech cordless keyboard. I'll see if there are
newer drivers available, perhaps that will help. Otherwise, I guess it's a
bug with JDK 1.4.0_01?

Any help appreciated - I can't live without Ctrl-Space! :-)

Chris
