If the caret is not positioned at the
- exact beginning of the last selected line, OR
- exact end of the last selected line
before pressing [Tab],
IDEA will erase the selected area,
and not tab it, as expected.
Example :
Select the text between "[" and "]", and [Tab]
Before :
*********
String test = "aaaaaaaaa" +
[ "bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb" +
] "cccccccccccccccc" ;
Action :
********
[Tab]
After :
*******
String test = "aaaaaaaaa" +
"cccccccccccccccc" ;
