Hi, for those who still don't know, IDEA and linux used to have an issue with spanish keyboards, the bug was reported at sun against the 1.3 and meanwhile the IBM JDK didn't have that issue.
Ok, I'm talking about a Sun bug and not IDEA's. But tell it to someone who has to put ariadna up and running (and need the _damn_great_ work on EJBs that is available with beta) Right know, since jdk 1.4 is a must, the bug has come again (there is no IBM jdk 1.4 at the moment). The only workaround that I have been able to use is the one at the bottom of the bug report page (modifying the xmodmap, removing the 'dead' prefix on the modmap): http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4418512.html xmodmap -e 'keycode 34 = grave dead_circumflex bracketleft' will fix the [ but for { it's not that easy because I get the brace but losing the accent (��� etc). Remember that you still have both keys at the '7' and '8' in the keyboard. I'm telling this here for the records.
