Maxim,
Terribly sorrry that I missed your response in error.
I followed your procedure and took snapshots.
The attachment, snapshots.zip has two snapshots.
step1: Type "12345" in a Japanese mode.
This opens the Input Method window and it has
Japanese "12345" on it.
step2: Hit return to update the text file contents.
Text file shows ONLY "2345". The first character "1" has gone.
Now you understand our problem, don't you.
We lose first character in whatever we input.
region.bmp: Region Option Windows in Control Panel
This shows "Japanese" is selected".
ime.bmp: IME Setting Window
This shows "Hiragana" mode is selected.
Hiragana is something like a Japanese alphabet.
I used this mode to input "12345" in step1,2.
Snapshot environment:
Ariadna build 648
Windows 2000 Japanese Version + SP2
(MS-IME2000 is included as default)
101 Type Keyborad
Please tell me if you need more information or experiments.
I'm willing to help you by spending some hours with you.
Best regards,
Miki
