We are the "severe testing" group for Intellij.  That is what we get paid to do!  And 
if we 
freeze the bug database, how do we report NEW problems introduced in recent builds.  I 
think the number of bugs is smaller than it appears.  Given a little bit of breathing 
room, I bet 
that many of them could be closed as not reproduceable.
