As far as I am concerned, the performance problems I am experiencing are concerning memory usage of IDEA. My project has 200 java files of moderate size (all less then 2000 lines, lots are small). IDEA 648 usually takes 100 MB of RAM after a new minutes. As I reported in the following message, I suspect memory leaks in IDEA because after getting to 100MB and closing the project, running the GC, the memory nevers gets back below 50MB.
http://www.intellij.net/forums/thread.jsp?forum=1&thread=8032&message=232283&q=#232283 As a general feedback concerning EAP releases, I think it would greatly help the quality of bug reports and save time to EAP testers if the release notes would not only indicate new features but also bug fixes (or an automated link to the proper tracker search page on the intelliJ site to be able to consult them easily). As builds come every couple of weeks, it is not always obvious whether to test it if we don't know if reported issues were worked on or not. I must admit that I only monitor the EAP Bugs and EAP Features forum, maybe I should monitor the tracker?! I hope this feedback can help, Regards Please let me know _______________________________________________ Eap-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.jetbrains.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-bugs
