Hi,
Ok I have to confess I had not tried ctrl-space (don't ask why I dunno) What I was after was either tab or "." being used to pick from the initial list and then have the code complete popup if you used a dot to select it. All that said I have just tried ctrl-space and this does not exactly kick me out of the live template. What it does here is to blink a pick list very fast on center screen and then revert back to the pick list you started with at beginning of using the template. It seems there is defiantly some problem with normal built in templates H Yura Cangea wrote: > At 13:09 23/10/01 +0100, you wrote: > > Hey Dan ;) > > As far as I know it was a custom live template that wasn't correctly > written, normally ctrl-space > doesn't "bump you out of the template". > >> Hi Huw. >> >> This is a bug which has been posted before - whenever you use ctrl-space >> completion in a live template, you get "bumped out" of the template back >> into boring type-it-all-yourself land, otherwise live templates should >> work >> exactly as you describe.
