I have just been doing some searches and when you do usage searches on
methods or Objects it would be nice to be able to:
Find Usage:
1. exclude certain packages from a hierarchy
(example: find in com.project.app.* but not in
com.project.app.util.* )
2. exclude object's use of method
(example: find all getState() but not OftenUsedObject.getState())
Find in Path:
1. exclude or ignore spaces
(example: find "}catch(MyFavoriteException ex){" but ignore
spacing between brackets and parentheses and or multiple spaces)
