More important than aligning types and values:
- An option to reorder class variables and have them at the top or bottom of
the class definition. For example static variables first, then private, then
public.
- Optional spacing between groups (scope) of variables.
- An option for reordering functions as well. For example, static methods,
then constructors, then getter/setter, then public (alphabetical), then
private (alphabetical)
I understand that there would be a ton of possible settings for ordering
member variables or functions, but this would make classes more consistent
and easier to maintain.
I still think that getting the list of unused variables and functions is of
higher priority. This is definitely in line with XP...
