Yes! Yes! Yes! +10 vote here for sorting the members. I would like it so
much.
Also to be able to define the order of different member types (example :
first constructors, then static methods, public methods, fields after all
at end of the class, and so on)
When can we expect such a feature ?!
Thank you,
Armond

class variables

Please respond to
eap-features
Actualy this would be a nice feature, but it should group declarations by
number of modifiers. Otherwise it usually looks like:
public static final String TRACE_TAG = new String("MODULE1");
public static final String DEF_LOGIN = new String("guest");
private int testInt = 0;
private Collection acl;
I would prefer:
public static final String DEF_LOGIN = new String("guest");
public static final String TRACE_TAG = new String("MODULE1");
private Collection acl;
private int testInt = 0;
(automatic sorting by access modifier/type/variable name also would help a
lot)
* Also, I would like to have an option for IDEA to place new fields
declarations to the bottom of the class. Currently IDEA always generates
field declarations on top, even when they are private.
* I do not know if this has been requested already, but IDEA does not
accept
URLs in JavaDoc API path. It is not always possible or reasonable to
download full third party JavaDoc (well, and we have tons of API doc
published on our internal Web site).
