I think you are missing the point of the paradigm.  You don't need to worry about it.  
In fact, I would prefer the "save all" option being removed, and trusting that my 
files 
get saved when they need to save.

If you didn't want something saved, don't type it in.  If you want to remove 
something because you made a mistake, use the undo feature.

My position on this is don't change the paradigm.  I think supporting both is 
incompatable.
