It takes more time to think about it in detail,
but I'm sure that it would be quite useful if you could
remove an if / for / while / try-catch - block etc. easily.

In many cases it would already help a lot if you could
just remove the closing brace in one step together with the opening brace.

I guess the perfect thing would be something like an intelligent 
"edit structure", which recognizes, for example that you are inside an
if-else-statement -> then lets you choose if you want to introduce
another else-block, remove the else-block.
another example is of course when you're in a try-catch-block
-> lets you choose if you want to remove/add some catches, remove
the whole try-catch-block and so on.
