(PS: Before calling this is a gadget, please give it a second thought.)
As an XP fan, I try not to let too much time between 2 runs of junit tests. Currently, I try to stick to the "5-10 minutes max" limit, but without any tool help, it's difficult to enforce. I'd like IDEA to (re)start an timer each time I do [Shift-F10], or click on "Run", and have it beep - or pop-up a dialog, or flash, or reformat the HD, or ... - after a chosen delay. As there is much space left on the right side of the toolbar, the timer could be displayed there. I don't think - I think - this is a gadget, and furthermore, I have the feeling this would be very very simple to implement.
