When the hierachy is deep, finding a certain leaf can become cumbersome.
I suggest adding an "expand all" feature to all the tree-like display panels
(CVS File View, Source, Project).
I could be triggered by pressing [Shift], while clicking,
or
you could replace the 2 state cycle
compressed --> expand 1 --> compressed ..
by a 3 state cycle
compressed --> expand 1 --> expand all --> compress ...
