would be nice, if u built more functions for use in the live templates.
e.g
"substring" can be very usefull...

How about also adding suggestions to the contents of the
pasted text? For instance, if I use some text like:
ThisIsMyObject.class, give me a choice to use $CLASSNAME$ for ThisIsMyObject.

4. [Ctrl-V] the text in the template text area
5. Click on the Abreviation text area
6. Enter an abreviation for the template

could be a very simple way to save 6 clicks, and 1 [Ctrl-V].
I
suggest using [Shift-Ctrl-C] to create a new LiveTemplate from the selected text :
no more : 3. click 5 times
on various things,
no more : 4. [Ctrl-V] the text in the
template text area
no more : 5. Click on the
Abreviation text area
6. Enter an abreviation for the template
