I'm sending the mail here as this is also a feature request.
I've been using jdk1.4 as a target since beta1 and, except for the new assert keyword, I have no problems. Feature request: With 1.4 a way of excluding packages/classes/methods from code completion/auto import is a must. 1.4 ships some obfuscated libraries, and every time I have a variable with one/two letters, Idea pops up suggestions for one/two letters classes/methods. This has already been requested some time back by several people who also use obfuscated libraries. A simple temp workaround for this would be an auto import option to always ignore classes with N or fewer letters in the name. Carlos PS: I seem to remember wanting other features specific to 1.4 some time back, but I've forgotten them now:( > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: quinta-feira, 14 de Fevereiro de 2002 19:26 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Eap-list] JDK 1.4 as a target JDK > > > Hello everyone! > > We are collecting the information about any troubles you had > when using 1.4 > JDK as a target one, while running IDEA on 1.3.x JDK (when running, > debugging, configuring your project etc). > Please email directly to me and thanks in advance for your help. > > Best regards, > Eugene Zhuravlev > IntelliJ Software, http://www.intellij.com/ > "Develop with pleasure!" _______________________________________________ Eap-features mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-features
