Sometimes I want to select a large block of code using ctrl-W. The problem is that if the block is larger than what is visible on the screen, I don't know where the block I've selected starts or ends, so I don't know when to stop pressing ctrl-W.
It just struck me that IDEA already helps me with this when I place the cursor after a closing bracket -- if the opening bracket is above the top of the screen, it opens a mini-window / tooltip where the line containing the opening bracket is shown. How about doing the same for selection? When the topmost line of the selection is above the top of the screen, add a popup showing that line with the appropriate part shown selected in blue. _______________________________________________ Eap-features mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-features
