my main problem with the error higligtning in javadoc is that only syntax errors are marked red. And syntax errors are not important in javadoc. Whats relevant is the sematics and that can not be checked.
I descibe everything that is useful in my javadoc but i don't use the exact syntax that is demanded by Sun, so everything is red. btw IDEA don't show any error when i write no javadoc at all.
