One feature that I liked very much in my old trusty TurboText on the Amiga was the pre-scroll area. It worked like this: When you moved the cursor down (or up) towards the edge of the window it would start scrolling when there were still a few lines left. This meant that you always had two or three lines visible below the cursor. That way you had a better context to work in.
In other editors I have to "simulate" this by moving the cursor a few lines past my target and back again, or by doing a few ctrl-down. /Mikael _______________________________________________ Eap-features mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-features
