One feature that I liked very much in my old trusty TurboText on the Amiga
was the pre-scroll area. It worked like this: When you moved the cursor down
(or up) towards the edge of the window it would start scrolling when there
were still a few lines left. This meant that you always had two or three 
lines visible below the cursor. That way you had a better context to work
in.

In other editors I have to "simulate" this by moving the cursor a few lines
past my target and back again, or by doing a few ctrl-down.
