I run inspection on a single class, looking for NPE's. I get several items
in the middle pane. I delete the offending lines in the editor, and then
run refresh. The items in the middle pane are still there, but no longer
show an error. My personal preference would be for it to work like
find instances, where a refresh would be like rerunning the query,
and the items in the middle pane would go away.
I can see the argument for how it is now. But it means I have to wade
through
several fixed items before I find ones that are still there.
