Or maybe that command is already there? In any case, I got the bright idea once of hitting Shift-Delete and was delighted to find that it deleted the current line. I started using it all the time for just that purpose. I then realized it was just cutting the current line (as in to the clipboard). That makes sense from a legacy standpoint (in terms of the keymapping) but now I really would like to have an easy way to delete the current line. Right now, I have to hold shift, then hit the down arrow, then hit delete and it's something I do _all_ the time. Or if I use my current "solution" I end up obliterating the contents of my clipboard when I don't want to.
