Hi IntelliJ guys. Would you consider the possibility of creating one more mailinglist on your eap-server for announcements only (one-way)? I am of course subscriber to both eap-features and eap-list and read both daily, but as these are fairly high volume, they are filtered in my mailprogram and are read during breaks during the day. I find myself therefore opening my browser to the eap page every morning (and logging in) ONLY to see that illusive current build-number on the page so I can see if there is a new version to download before I start IDEA to begin the days work :-) For this reason alone, it would be nice to have an announce list with announcements of new releases (and possibly critical post-release bugs discovered by the dev. team.)
The list might also be helpfull for those that are not using the current build for whatever reason (specific bugs, or maybe corporate policy?) and therefore don't actively follow the eap-list(s), but still want to know when new things happen :-) Any comments to this suggestion? Regards, Jan Krag
