I'd love to have this in IDEA (and in any other editor too, e.g. Word :))!

CTRL-K simply completes your word with the first matching word searched 
backwards in your file:

"blablabla
  b" <- now pressing CTRL-K results in:
"blablabla
  blablabla"

This works for everything (because nothing language-specific is parsed 
=> it works in comments as well as in any other non-java file)

Additional shortcut: CTRL-L simply searches forward instead of backwards.
