A. Currently we see the method declaration line and the 'folded' line in
gray with the + box.
I find this visually distracting. Instead, do not show the 'folded'
line in gray, just show the method signature with the + box all on the same
line.
B. For the Javadoc comments, instead of showing the 'folded' comment in
gray, simply show the first line of the comment and put the + box on this
line (if there are more lines to the comment).
C. Create some key stroke combinations that will:
Only show method declarations, no comments at all (not even the
folded comment).
Show both the method declaration and the first line of the JavaDoc
comment.
Show the method declaration and the full JavaDoc comment.
