I already use a full blown VCS, but I still value having local VCS in addition.
There are many times when I make many changes to my code before a 
check in.  Its nice knowing I can go back to (almost) any intermediate state.

Labeling the LVCS with the additional items I listed below would help
me to back to the intermediate state I want easier.
