I think I go too far but a new think came to my mind. Linux users know, all windows have a nice feature. They stick to the borders of the screen or another screen element when they come very near of them (In delphi, it is called magnet). Same think can be in Idea. Especially after tearing off sub windows (like comander, Structure etc). It will be very helpful.
