For Java code, you are basically right. But I use IntelliJ to edit Ant script files, for example, and I don't think it would hurt to be able to save the file to a new place. My request doesn't necessarily imply unnamed files. For example, the context menu for directories includes a new file menu item without creating an unnamed file. I just want to be able to do some file actions I am used to.
