Is there a relationship with the memory you can assign to IDEA?

Greetings

Regarding all these memory and performance problems reports... Well, we
added '-Xincgc' option into IDEA startup script in the build #507. It worked
rather well here and, in particular, eliminated long pauses for GC. So we
decided to try it. It looks like it does not work well for many of you so
you may disable it. Go to the IDEA startup script (idea.bat or idea.sh file
in the 'bin' folder) and search -Xincgc and simply remove it. I hope it
helps.

P.S. BTW, is there anybody who feels IDEA works better with -Xincgc?

Best regards,
