One additional idea, could the three different views be collapsed into one
by combining the supertypes and subtypes views together with the supertypes
shown in a different color and sorted to the top? The superclass chain could
be expanded by default. This would take up the roughly the same vertical
space as the supertypes do in the current class view.
For example (excuse the ascii icon (e) means extends, (i) means implements):
