Title: SV: [Eap-list] More suggestions for the hierarchy window
ooooh, I didn't mean that, but that certainly seems useful...I'd vote for that as well.

I simply meant I'd like the current hierarchy view in a popup window (works like the ctrl-f12 method window).

Subject: SV: [Eap-list] More suggestions for the hierarchy window

If I understand you correctly, you would like to be able to access the
inheritance hierarchy for a method in a class? That would be really cool I think, I always use: Go to declaration, but getting a list of a methods inheritance path through all classes (and interfaces) to it's origin would really make my day :)

+1

mne: [Eap-list] More suggestions for the hierarchy window

Good morning,

I like the hierarchy window.  I have a couple of suggestions.

1.  Make the enter key navigate to the selected class instead of
opening/closing the tree.  The arrow keys already open/close
     the tree.

2.  I've found the hierarchy view useful while editing a class and I want
to navigate to a parent class two or three levels up.  Instead of
using a tool window, I'd like to have the option of popping it up
like the method navigator window does.  This would probably only
be useful if the enter key opens the source file.

Thanks,
