If you declare two arrays on the same line like so:

 

public class A {

    private int a[], b[];

 

    public void c () {

        a = new int[2];

        b = new int[3];

    }

}

 

IDEA says that b is in error.  “Incompatible types.  Found: int[], required int[][].”
