I moved some packages within IDEA which seemed to work okay including the CVS integration. There was a single source path in the project.
Then I added another source path and moved packages from this new source path. The target package was on both source paths, so I told IDEA to use the new one when I was asked. During the first move operation I didn't look at the CVS dialogs close enough but I got an error. Nevertheless I did a second move operation and had a closed look at the CVS dialogs. I saw that IDEA asked me to add files to CVS that were on the other source path, the one I did not specify as the target path for the move operation. I cannot recall correctly what happened, but the overall result was sort of chaotic, locally as well as on the CVS server.
