Often, the code you just pasted from another place may not be valid
(uncompileable) in the new context.  And formatting it automatically
will not do a great job.  I think it's still better to make such things
step by step.  We prefer to think about reorganizing the code more like
a refactoring than a simple copy/paste operation.  
Maybe what you would like to have is to keep the selection highlighting
of the pasted block so that you can immediately call Ctrl-Alt-F (Layout
code) if you are sure.
