OK, not to expand on the whole Editor Tab
thread but I’d really like to know what logic is used to decide where a
new tab goes when a file is opened in IDEA.. Say I
have 10 files open and the current active tab is #4, then I open another file,
it seems that the new tab is placed at position #5.. Why
is this? Doesn’t it make sense to add new tabs to the end of the list? If
not at the end then maybe have the tabs ordered alphabetically based on the
name of the file. I frequently have 25-30 files open at once and finding files
can be a real chore since there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to
the way new tabs are added.. Correct me if I’m wrong.. -=- Kevin |
