If you have enough free disk space, install IDEA four times. (I know, ick. But disk space is cheap these days...) That would solve the colors/preferences issue, as well.

Do someone know a solution for the following problem: We have got a laptop (used during travelling) with IDEA installed. This computer is used by 3-4 persons, each of us has own IDEA license. The problem is that when we try to use IDEA on local network a license-collission detected (and IDEA exit) happens every time we forget to overwrite the last used license, with the license associated to the person just logged in now. Also each of us likes different color settings, etc. So the nice thing would be if idea can pick up this things from our home dir or something like this. Is it possible somehow now, without copying always?
